Pictures

I just wanted to post some pictures of Carter. This is from yesterday of him in his cage.
He was actually very happy in it.

This is from about a month ago, but I thought it was cute.

They sure don't want to risk him climbing out of his crib! That's quite a cage. :)

I know you're going to have a hard week, but I am also positive that Carter is going to live to be an old, wrinkly, hard-of-hearing dude with a life full of happy memories. Colter and he will play shuffleboard together at the local senior citizen's center.

There are so many people praying for you, Mike, Evan, and your precious boy, Gina! Remember that, "The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and His ears are attentive to their cry" Psalm 34:15. We are crying to the Lord! He will listen.

I LOVE YOU AND YOUR PRECIOUS BOY! Even though you don't understand His purpose yet, GOD LOVES YOU BOTH, TOO!

Gina,
Well at least the "cage" isn't quite as crazy as it was at CMH - something about being rounded makes it less cagelike!!!

I just wanted to say that we love you and I'm just positive that while this week is probably going to be one of the hardest ever, I just know that Carter is going to be ok - he's going to beat this crazy thing and have a great story to tell (not that the little guy needs anymore).

I keep thinking of the 23rd Psalm, not sure why, I guess because I know I feel like a lost lamb who definitely needs rescued by His shephard so I can only imagine what you guys are feeling like. We will fear NO evil!!! He WILL comfort.

Love you and your fam lots!! Hugs and kisses
XOXO
Rachel

PS - I've seen you more in the last week than I have in awhile, I promise (haha) I will make more trips to Bolivar even when everyone is healthy :)

Hey, guys! He sure looks happy in his "cage" pictures! I hope you are getting some rest and having family near is great. It is hard to see right now what God plans to do with this, but remain open and you'll see. I want you to know a few things: you are all loved, you are bathed in prayer, and God is awesome and in control. Have a blessed day and keep us posted.

Gina and Mike,
I was very surprised yesterday at church to hear about everything that is going on with Carter. I know how stressful it is having a little one sick and in the hospital, but I cannot imagine everything you have been through the last few days. I am so glad you are able to be near family, as they will be a great source of strength and encouragement for you in the days ahead. We pray everything goes well and you will be back in Bolivar soon!

Everytime I have seen Cartre, he has been such a happy and content little guy. I pray over these next few days, the Lords grace and mercy shine down on you all. I will continue to pray throughout each day for Carter and that you and Mike are able to stay in unity and find comfort in the Lord and each other. Thank you for the updates Gina.

Cage! Oh, goodness! :)

You are truly loved! Every time I start to worry, I pray for you guys!

I may not have the right words to say to tell you what I feel, so here are some verses of encouragement:

Hebrews 13:5 - Never will I leave you; Never will I forsake you.

Philippians 1: 3-6 - I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for you, I always pray with joy...That he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

My prayers are will you and the doctors. If you need ANYTHING, please let us know.

Love you all!
