Crazy Day Part 2

Today was just a very tiring and draining day. I don't really feel like writing tonight, but just wanted to ask you all to pray hard for us again tomorrow. Carter had the MIBG today and also they took some of his bone marrow (surprise, but glad its over). I can't explain to you all how hard all of these test are for Carter and myself. Its not natural for them to put your child to sleep like that, and it is so hard to watch. To those of you who watch out for me ( my HCA fan club, you know who you are) I am not down, I am just really tired and drained both physically and mentally! :)
Today we talked to an oncologist about the piece of tumor on his aorta. They will know more after all of these tests, but if it is small enough and the cancer has not spread it should regress on its own, and they will just watch it very carefully for several years.
On Thursday he will have an MRI (hopefully the last test) and then we will meet with the oncologist for some results. Please pray its only good news. Thank you for all your thoughts and comments. Please keep praying.

Gina, Have a good day. Praying you and Carter get through and find some time to rest up. All of BIS is thinking of you and praying for you today! He's a tough little guy. Remember, God never gives us more than we can handle. You're strong and faithful. He will see you through.
Love you,

It's 7:00a.m. I am praying for little Carter as he goes through these last tests and praying that it will all be good news. Hang in there God is holding you and Carter in his arms. I pray you will feel peace as you go through this journey. Joy

Just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you and Carter today. I hope the results are good and you guys can come home and get back to life as normal. I am sure that you are exhausted as this is not an easy thing to deal with. Be sure that you are taking time for yourself cause Carter doesn't need Mommy to get sick . Love you lots, Rita

Gina, thanks for letting us know how to pray today - even though you didn't feel like it. I cannot imagine how exhausted you must be after the past 2 weeks. I am praying today that the tests go smoothly and that you have peace and comfort and that you get only good news today.

Praying that the MRI right now goes smoothly and quickly and that when you meet with the oncologist you are blessed with results from ALL the tests that you've had this week. Praying that the Lord gives you rest and peace today, I know it's a hard day but hopefully it's one of the last of its kind!
Love you!

I have started to write several times but haven't quite known what to say. I am glad you were able to have a fun day at the zoo Monday before all the draining days since then. Any extended amount of time spent in a medical setting -- whether at a doctor's office or a hospital -- is draining in so many ways, especially when it is your little one's health that is at stake. It is very scary, even though you know that Carter is where he needs to be with medical professionals who know exactly what he needs.

I hope you get to come home very soon and with good news. These tests will soon be over, and we pray he won't have to have any more tests for quite a while.

You are a very strong person. Even though you may feel very weak right now, someday you will look back on all this and realize just how strong your family is.

Hey Gina,

I didn't realize who's baby I was praying for!!! I was so surprised when I say your picture with Carter! I was like...oh my gosh that's Gina from HCA! If you need anything at all....I really hope you or someone from HCA will let me know. I'm praying for you and for Carter.

God is more than able. I pray today that you will be able to rest in Him.

In His love,
Brooke Walters
