I wanted to take a minute to brag on my big boy Evan. Today we went to the city pool and ....(drum roll please) Evan jumped off the diving board all by himself!!! I was so proud. He loved it, in fact he did it 8 times in a row. It was so fun to watch him get up the courage and be so brave to walk to the edge of the board and take the plunge.
One of my blog readers asked me if my purses I bought while on my girls day out were cute, well of course they are cute!! Why do you think I bought 2?? So, Traci, this is for you.
Well actually they are kind of plain. The plaid one is my favorite and the brown one is pretty boring, but I am a pretty boring girl.
To be very honest with the 5 of you that read this blog, I am very scared about Carter's appointment on Friday. Please pray for us during the week that I will have peace and assurance from the Lord that everything is going to be okay. I know I will feel better as soon as it is over, I just want it over. I pray the week passes by very quickly. Also pray that the nurses will not have any problems getting an IV. Last time it took them 6 tries and I really don't want him to go through that again, and that was the nurse who everyone calls when they have trouble with an IV. I hope you all have a blessed week!

Hey Gina! Just thought I'd let you know you can add at least one person to your reader count... I stop by a couple times a week to see how things are going. I originally found you through a bizarre trail of blogs linking blogs to blogs, etc.! Glad Carter is doing so well!
Gina - we are praying for you all - I know they waiting and the wondering are the hardest parts of all this and we are just praying for a peace that passes all understanding to be very real in your lives this week!
Love you and can't wait for the good news on Friday (or whenever you get the results!)
I also wanted to let you know that I am sure there are more than 5 people still reading, and still praying for your family. I check several times a week and continue to pray for you all each night. You have a great family and it is easy to get wrapped up in your story. I am sure things will be fine this week, but will be sure to say some special prayers anyway. May God continue to bless you.
A praying Bolivar Family
I'm still reading! I also found your blog from a wide linkage party I had one night. I've been praying for you ever since! And tell Evan he's awesome for taking on the diving board! I'm 27 and STILL won't go near it! :)

Hi Gina
You don't know me but I have been checking in on Carter since hearing about him through Granton's blog. I want you to know that my family and I will be uplifting you and Carter in prayer. We will pray for a week that will fly by, peace of mind for you, a one time poke for an IV, and GREAT news from the Dr concerning Carter's health. Have a blessed week.
Prayers continue for Carter for his scan day on Friday - let go and let God - place ALL your trust in HIM! I know its very very hard to build up to the scan and then the wait for the results even harder, but just try and take deep breaths and stay positive and trust trust trust in His plans! Love Samm and Deqlan
